The Shadow Chancellor, George Osborne, categorically cleared up any confusion with regards Inheritance Tax by confirming that the promise previously made to raise the Inheritance Tax threshold to £1 million will be kept, it will be in the Conservative manifesto.
George Osborne has always said he will not write budgets - including the 2010 one - in advance. He said that the Conservatives are only able to help people who have saved to pass on something to their children because we have identified those who will pay for it - non-domiciles.
