4 days to go before you have the chance to change the politcal map of Bolton!

4 days to go before you have your chance to change the political map of Bolton and now more than ever it is becoming clearer why Bolton needs positive change and why you need to vote Conservative to get that change for the whole of Bolton.

  • Some of the lowest paid workers of Bolton are now feeling the full impact of the abolition of the 10p tax rate, with some paying double the amount of tax paid only last month.
  • Bolton has some of the dirtiest streets in the country, fact.
  • The fear of crime continues to be rise with residents, particularly the vulnerable worried about leaving their homes.
  • The Royal Bolton Hospital, chaired by the Labour Leader of the Council Cliff Morris, is having to find £6.6 million pounds of cuts whilst senior managers enjoy free trips to the South of France.
  • Bolton’s Labour controlled council continues to specifically promise Bolton’s Asian communities more investment if they vote for Labour.  The Conservatives will provide investment and services to where it is needed, irrespective of ethnicity.
  • Bolton Labour party continues its desperate attempt to misrepresent the Conservative Group on areas such as the Congestion Charging and job cuts at the Town Hall.  The Conservative Group are the only Group against the Congestion Charge, period.  The Conservative Party will not cut any essential jobs such as Social Workers or Waste Collection Operatives.  What we will do is review all non-essential vacant posts.
  • Teachers have just had their first strike for many years but you listen to Labour and all is well and our teachers are happy.
  • NHS Staff are currently being balloted for strike action with regards their pay offer but again listen to the government all is rosy in the NHS garden.
  • Local Government Employees are currently being balloted for strike action with regards their pay offer but again listen to Labour and everything is champion in the world of Local Government.
  • The Labour Government continues to deny a full pay increase to the police, with thousands of them demonstrating in London only a few months ago.  The Conservatives believe that the Police settlement should be paid in full and back dated.

The country is in turmoil and this obviously has an adverse effect on Bolton.

The choice on Thursday 1st May is yours?

More of the same or positive change?
