Next week Bolton residents will be given the opportunity to influence and shape Conservative Party Policy. The Bolton Conservative Association will be hosting one of the first "Stand Up, Speak Up" events in the country that will allow local residents to voice their views on a range of proposals currently being considered by the Conservative Party.
The event will be held at the Bolton Parish Halls, Silverwell Street Bolton at 700pm on Monday 17th September. Speakers will include Greg Barker MP (Shadow Minister for Health), Susan Williams, Parliamentary Candidate for Bolton West, Deborah Dunleavy, Parliamentary Candidate for Bolton North East and Cllr John Walsh, the Conservative Group Leader on Bolton Council.
Commenting Cllr Mary Woodward, Little Lever & Darcey Lever Councillor, and also President of Bolton South East said "This is your chance to speak to the policy makers and get your views across. I urge everyone to attend what will be a very informative and interesting event."
