So the Bolton South East Labour Party have selected a London Barrister and Human Rights Advisor as the party's candidate to replace Brian Iddon. Do they really think so little of the people of Bolton South East as to think they can parachute in someone who knows nothing about Bolton South East and spends most of her time in London? What makes them think that Bolton South East will want her anymore that Brent East did at the last General Election when she lost to the Lib Dems?
The public of Bolton South East does not want someone from the chattering political correct brigade who represents (for nothing she claims) people who have had their human rights infringed. They want someone who will stand up for the law abiding majority and who will put their rights first and foremost.
There will be a clear choice for the public of Bolton South East at the next general election. The Conservative Party, who will scrap the Human Rights Act enforced upon us by this Labour Government and Europe and who will replace it with a UK Bill of Rights which will balance our beliefs and traditions and which will enshrine the rights of the law abiding majority; and the Labour Party Candidate, who's London based law firm makes a lot of money from that very same act and who advises Ken Livingstone on Human Rights.
I have nothing but respect for Brian Iddon, who has served the Town well but it beggars belief that the Labour Party hold the public of Bolton South East with such contempt. Bolton South East does not want another Ruth Kelly, who is rarely in the Town, they want someone based here, who works here and who's knows what the day to day issues are that affect us all.
