An Independent Planning Inspector has been appointed to consider whether Bolton Core Strategy is "sound" and complies with relevant legal requirements. The Planning Inspector appointed is Mr Richard E Hollox.
A Pre-hearing will be held at 200pm on Tuesday 27th July 2010 in The Lancaster Suite, Bolton Town Hall. The purpose of the pre-hearing is to discuss the management of the examination, including the overall programme, how representations will be heard and the timetable for the submission of any supplementary statements.
Anybody who has made representations is welcome to attend, but those who wish to appear at any of the hearings may find it useful to do so. The pre hearing will not be an occasion for any discussion on the merits or otherwise of the matters to be considered at the Hearings.
The full Hearing is scheduled to commence at 10 am on Tuesday 7th September 2010. The Hearing will again be heard at Bolton Town Hall, probably in the Lancaster Suite. Details will be confirmed nearer the time.
