Well the elections are finally over and some form of normality returns locally, if not nationally!
As the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Bolton South East I had a swing from Labour of 5.6%, way above the national average, but not enough to beat the Labour Candidate. We reduced their majority significantly and widened the gap to 3879 between us and the Lib Dem Candidate.
Congratulations go to Yasmin and her team and we look forward to working with them to ensure that Bolton South East gets its fair share and that everyone in Bolton South East is fully represented.
Locally I was returned as the Hulton Ward Councillor with an increased majority of 945 which I am obviously very humbled by.
Irrespective of how you voted thank you for taking part in the democratic process. I can assure you that I, along with Cllr Phil Ashcroft and Cllr Alan Walsh, win continue to represent the Hulton Ward to the best of our ability to ensure that we are not ignored and that your voice is heard!
Onwards and upwards!
