As a result police patrol plans were altered and night time patrols in the area were made a priority and stepped up . CID were made aware of the issue and also involved in the investigation.
As a result of a public appeal by the police for information I am pleased to advise that 2 suspects have been arrested. Neither of them were known to the police and it is only with your assistance and information that the police were able to arrest them.
The police will continue to work with residents and have advised once the suspects have been convicted residents will be given further details
