After months of lobbying by your Ward Councillors we have secured £10,000 to start the first phase of securing Hulton Lane Playing Fields.
Cllr
Cllr Andy Morgan added Nothing will actually be done until the residents have been consulted and we have agreement from the majority with regards the proposed scheme.
Cllr Alan Walsh commenting on the scheme said The first phase will hopefully include the placements of knee height bumper railings behind the houses at the Back of Hulton Lane. It is hoped that the completion of the securing to the car park area and changing rooms to prevent its illegal use by Travellers is included (subject to costs).
More details will be notified via the website and on the next Intouch leaflet as the scheme progresses.
