Football, footbal, football!

Funding has been approved by your Ward Councillors for the purchase of mobile football posts for Umberton Park and Maldwyn Ave Fields.  The posts, requested by the children and young adults of the relevant areas, will be mobile and located away from the site when not in use.  Local residents have agree to store the posts when not in use. 

Cllr Phil Ashcroft said “It’s all about the kids having something to do and taking responsibility for this equipment. We will be monitoring closely to see how it works and to ensure there is no negative impact on neighbours living next to the proposed sites."
