
Despite press reports over the weekend Cllr Andy Morgan, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Bolton South East said "Nothing has changed. The Conservative Party are committed to recognising marriage in the tax system, raising the Inheritance Tax threshold and cutting Stamp Duty if we form the next government."
"George Osborne has always said he will not write his first Budget before a General Election and until we have seen the books, this does not mean we have changed our aspirations with regards these tax commitments".
