
The relentless rise in unemployment is grim news for millions across the country. The sad reality is that Labour are continuing to sleepwalk through this unemployment crisis.
We need stability not a revolving door at the department of Work and Pensions. There has been a distinct absence of any real leadership in the department and it's disgraceful that we've had four Work and Pensions Secretaries in less than two years.
Cllr Andy Morgan, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Bolton South East, said "It is vital that the new Secretary of State reassures us that she won't be rowing back from introducing the welfare reform this country desperately needs and all will be provided to get those who have lost their jobs along with recent school leavers and graduates to get jobs and not become benifit dependent.''
